WebCrims is a public online portal introduced by the New York State Unified Court System in 2005 to improve access to criminal court records. It offers free electronic search tools that allow users to look up criminal cases, view upcoming court dates, and access basic case disposition information.In the late 1990s, New York State began developing online court databases, and in the early 2000s the Office of Court Administration launched the iApps system, which included WebCrims. The platform officially went live for New York City courts in September 2005 and later expanded across Nassau, Suffolk, the Hudson Valley, and Erie County. In the 2010s, an attorney portal (eTrack) was introduced, and today WebCrims handles millions of case searches annually.

Step 2 — Choose a search type

• Case — search by docket number
• Court Calendar — search by date
Step 3 — Select the county Choose from NYC, Long Island, Hudson Valley, or Erie County.
